Who we are

Inclusion is not a special service. It is how every service should work.

Holistic Disability Development Organization is an Ethiopian local non-governmental and non-profit organization. We exist to promote rights, dignity and full inclusion for persons with disabilities.

Starting in the Somali Region and working across Ethiopia, HDDO brings disability inclusion into education, health and livelihoods, humanitarian action and community development.

Leadership

Local leadership, accountable action.

HDDO is led by people committed to the rights, dignity and participation of persons with disabilities. Our leadership works with communities, institutions and partners to turn inclusion into practical action.

Why inclusion matters

When barriers fall, communities become stronger.

Disability inclusion is not separate from development. It improves the systems that all people rely on, from a clinic and classroom to a market, water point or emergency response.

01Better access to quality education and healthcare
02More independent livelihoods and economic opportunity
03Communities that are safer, more resilient and equitable
